Chiapas is a great mix of attractive colonial cities, archaeological sites, pine-forest highlands, and sultry rainforest jungles. Once dominated by the Mayans, the citizens live side-by-side within Mexico's southernmost state. In Chiapas, many ethnic groups have kept their traditions, languages, and folklore alive. The colorful costumes of the ethnic groups show many mythological figures woven into the fabric. The traditions are also shown in the famous handcrafts, the festivities, and the local gastronomy.
We provide tours with certified guides.
